Natural Skin Care Products For Better Looking Skin

Here's our list of natural skin care products for better skin health:

Epsom Salts:  Used for healing such a wide variety of health problems, from a twisted ankle to nail fungus, I think of it as a miracle substance. It has such wonderful healing properties I highly recommend everyone keep a bag or box of it on hand at all times.

Epsom salts are absorbed into the skin when dissolved in warm water. The magnesium in the salt helps release serotonin, which is a mood-boosting chemical in the brain that gives a calm and relaxing feel, which can improve sleep, as well as concentration, and helps muscles and nerves to function properly. An Epsom salt bath is also a natural remedy to ease pain, treat sore muscles, and relieve inflammation.

When feeling under the weather, or just sore all over, nothing beats soaking in a warm Epsom salts bath!

Exfoliating Scrub: A good, natural scrub will smooth out your skin by removing old dead skin cells. Exfoliating will also allow moisturizers to more easily penetrate skin in order to work better, and also help foundation make-up go on smoother and look more natural.  Do be sure the scrub you choose is not too rough, you do not want to cause harm while exfoliating your skin. You only need to remove the old dead skin in order to reveal healthy new skin. Exfoliating every other day should be sufficient for most people. However, some people do require daily exfoliation such as people who suffer from acne. Use your own judgement to decide how often to exfoliate, keeping in mind your skin should not be raw or sore after scrubbing.

Goat Milk Soap: Goat milk is a natural skin moisturizer and healer.  Bonus if the soap also includes olive oil, which is also a wonderful skin moisturizer!

Goat milk is a pure, gentle and natural beauty aid. Using goat milk for skin care is a tradition almost as old as humankind, and the soothing and moisturizing qualities of goat milk have made it especially useful for delicate or damaged skin.

As with other milks, goat milk contains lactic acid, which is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA). It assists to gently slough off dead skin cells and helps to hydrate and brighten the skin.

The goat milk protein contains all the known and essential amino acids plus vitamin A, B vitamins, and minerals such as calcium, potassium, magnesium and phosphorus.

People suffering from skin conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and extreme dry skin receive amazing relief of their symptoms once they start using goat milk products. Even those with no real skin problems will be amazed at how nice their skin feels after using bath and body products containing goat milk.

Sweet Almond Oil: Oils like olive oil are great for your skin, but they work much better when emulsified into a skin care product like soap. Sweet almond oil is the exception to this rule. Slather it on your dry areas such as face, neck, elbows, or even your feet; just slip a pair of socks on to allow it to absorb without causing you to fall or get oil all over! Allow the oil to penetrate for an hour, or more; then take a nice warm shower to wash off the excess. Your skin will feel extremely hydrated and even a little plumped up! You will even notice a decrease in fine lines, especially on your face and neck.

Witch Hazel: A simple and inexpensive product, yet so many skin care benefits for all skin types! Use this toner everyday for reduced inflammation, to fight acne, tighten skin and reduce the look of pores, and to relieve puffiness of your eyes.

Apply witch hazel with a cotton ball,  or cotton pad, to your face as a toner, or dab on to that bump or bruise on your shin to reduce inflammation and pain.
The healing power of witch hazel can also relieve the pain from sunburns, as well as treat dry skin.

The secret to Witch Hazel's effectiveness is in its powerful antioxidant, astringent and, anti-inflammatory properties.

Incorporating these natural, gentle products into your skin care routine will improve the look and feel of your skin over time. There really are no "miracles" and you shouldn't waste your money on products claiming to do the impossible, but you can certainly improve the health of your skin with the use of these amazing products!
