How to Recycle An Old T-Shirt Into A New Dog Toy

Materials Needed:
Three old t-shirts (Be sure you don't want to wear them anymore, as you will be cutting them up!)
Pair of sharp scissors

Directions:
STEP 1: Cut your t-shirts into 3 long strips. This is where you can customize the size of the finished toy. Our pictured toy was created for a medium sized dog using strips approximately 2 inches wide x 15 inches long.

STEP 2: Gather the pieces together & tie a knot, very tightly, at one end leaving approximately 1 1/2" of material overhang.

STEP 3: Now tightly braid the individual strips.

STEP 4: Tightly tie another knot at the end, leaving approximately 1 1/2 inches of material overhang just like the first knot.

You should be able to make approximately 8 toys from the three t-shirts, depending on the size of the shirts and the finished toys. Not a bad way to recycle those old tees & save yourself some $$ on dog toys too! Now toss that toy to the pup, he needs a new toy! Woof!
