About Our Goat Milk Soap

UPDATE: We are so excited to announce a great change to our formula. Our soap is now made with palm oil instead of lard for a harder, more long lasting bar. * Some of our original formula soap is still available but when it's gone, it's gone.

All of our handmade goat milk soaps start with a carefully formulated combination of oils which creates a non-drying, skin conditioning soap. We then select natural additives to help resolve specific skin problems. For example our acne and pore soap contains tea tree oil, which is a natural skin antibacterial as well as a pore reducer. Our newest addition is a wonderful combination of aloe Vera and colloidal oatmeal for sensitive skin. Coming soon is a lemongrass essential oil bar, which will be arriving just about the perfect time for warding off those awful summer mosquito attacks.

Some of our soaps are created around the fragrance or essential oil used such as our Rose Lover's Soap.  We strive to stock a broad range of soaps for every taste and need.

All of our soaps contain real liquid goat milk because of the amazing skin loving properties, vitamins, amino acids and healing abilities, which can benefit all skin types. We always allow our soap to cure for a full 6 weeks for a harder, longer lasting bar. This curing process also assures a pH balanced bar which is milder and gentler on the skin.

* Our original formula contained lard, which has well documented skin care benefits but we have now replaced it with palm oil, which we feel creates an even better bar of soap.  As we have worked more with this oil, the benefits of palm have confirmed that this was a good change to our formula. We always carefully consider the pros and cons before we make a change to our formula and we are always prepared to go back if we find any negative results. This is a very rare occurrence and you can be sure that the soap you buy and fall in love with from us will be a consistent product time after time.
